A stunning three-piece painting that captures a silver birch wood using mixed media, gold leaf, oil and resin. Silver Birch is the artist's favourite tree due to its metallic silver bark that shimmers in the sunshine and delicate smaller leaves that leave shadow flecks on the ground. Inspired by local walks with her spaniel she has created this modern twist to nature's beauty by bringing in a gold underlay to capture the light in the room.
