Using oil paint, resin, gold leaf and ink.  I have created a collection that entices the audience to emerge themselves and explore the deeper layers to each painting. Looking beyond the surface layer you will find the details carefully created over weeks on the easel.


Nature provides an opportunity for us to ground ourselves and be in the present moment, to shut off from everything and experience the innocence of the land and surroundings. To calm our nervous systems and tap into our senses. Life gets busy, we can often get caught up in the chaos but we must find time to slow down, pause and take in the beauty that often gets taken for granted.


I feel a strong sense of innocence when in nature standing still. It reminds me of being a parent and my connection with my daughter, how innocent she is within this world and how through all of the confusion children now often face when I see her exploring nature and standing there I see the freedom in her face. I see a child without the pressure of the modern world. A child that can be a child connecting with the magical elements of the seasons and colours, sounds and the textures. 

This collection is a truly magical spiritual emerging of nature, parenting and innocence. I have been lost in this collection, truly emerging into a beautiful place far from reality and to share this with you is a personal and powerful way to connect with you.
